Health Coaching

What is a Health Coach?

A Certified Health Coach is a wellness authority and supportive mentor who motivates you to cultivate positive health choices. Health coaches work with you to help you feel your best through food and lifestyle changes. Instead of prescribing one diet or way of exercising, a Health Coach will tailor an individualized wellness program to meet your needs. There is no one way to eat or be healthy!

How we will work together ...


Being a holistic health coach means helping one to realize that food isn't the only, and may not even be the primary focus.  I offer support for individuals in their lifestyle, as much as I support them in exploring what way of eating makes them feel their absolute best.  I believe that there is no "one size fits all" approach to health and wellness.  Thanks to my extensive training I am confident that together we can find what works best for you.

  • We will work in a 1:1 capacity so that you – and only you – are the focus of every session we have together

  • We will have two (2) pre-scheduled 50-minute appointments per month

  • Our sessions can be in-person, via phone, Facetime or Skype, depending on your location and preference

  • You will have ongoing support from me via email, phone and text in between sessions

  • You will have the option to join an online private Facebook community of like-minded clients

  • You will receive handouts, materials, and tools to assist you on your journey

  • You will have access to my expertise as a coach, educator and wellness expert


How you will participate in the program ...

  • You will set goals in a confidential environment of empowerment and support.

  • Your goals may center on any piece of your life that needs attention. Some examples include: maintaining a healthy weight, increasing sleep, exploring your fitness level, loving your body, creating and improving relationships, addressing career satisfaction, addressing stress and burnout, examining your spirituality, investigating your happiness, empowering yourself to live your dream, or optimizing and upleveling your life in a way that nourishes your body and your soul.

  • During each coaching session we will work together to crowd out the limiting beliefs, skillsets and actions that have kept you from your goals in the past while bolstering your resources.

  • Between sessions you will implement one to three suggestions or skills we decide upon.

  • A sustainable body looks different for everyone, as does the path to get there, which is why our work together will be largely shaped by your needs, your goals, and your story.
